Europe has come to a point where it cannot afford hesitation on industrial policy. Squeezed between high energy costs, fragmented markets and fierce foreign competition, our cleantech and industrial base risks falling behind on the global stage. On December 10th, the European Commission will unveil its legislative proposal for an Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA). This is a key opportunity to adopt a strong cleantech ‘Made in Europe’ strategy and change the course towards clean industrial leadership.
