Trade pressures play on Europe's energy transition

We’re importing more and more clean tech hardware, which is undermining the business case for local production. We also risk losing the jobs, skills and innovation feedback loops that come from having our own industrial scale at home, and we’re subsidising innovation at home, only to see the manufacturing and the value creation take place abroad.
